Steven Barcia is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Approved Domestic Violence Treatment Provider, and an approved MFT/CPC Primary Supervisor. Steven believes that the key to a successful therapeutic experience begins with an environment where one feels safe and accepted. He strives to create this through understanding each client’s unique experience and goals with consistent attention to non-judgement. Steven works from a solution focused philosophy and incorporates Cognitive behavioral strategies while maintaining a focus on emotional awareness. Steven also takes in a holistic perspective and trauma-informed lens, providing attention to the many complicated factors that affect one’s well-being. Steven’s goal is to help clients develop skills, perspectives, and behaviors they can incorporate beyond the therapeutic experience and contribute to a lifetime of increased peace and wellness. Steven is enthusiastic about creating art and music, as well as sports and outdoor activities. 


Kassie

Randee Hill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Nevada and California.  She received her Master's degree in Social Work from Portland State University and has been providing mental health services in a wide range of settings since 2010.  She has completed certificates of training that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR. She is a seasoned therapist experienced in working with early childhood, adolescents, adults, veterans/military, LGBTQ, adoption/foster care populations.  Specialties include anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, family therapy, and parenting issues.  She enjoys travel, live music concerts and old movies.

Chris Zukowski is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor working with children, families, couples, and individuals. Chris creates a safe space with emphasis on building relationships using an eclectic form of psychotherapy that draws on concepts to help individuals better understand their experiences and develop coping skills to reduce anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and struggles with life changes. While she is passionate about helping individuals and couples work through life challenges, she specializes in play therapy working with children ages 4-11.


Kassie

Kassie Ugalde is a Certified Professional Counselor and National Professional Counselor working with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. She has worked in the mental health field since 2007. She graduated with her Master's degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2013. Since, Kassie has worked with a wide variety of client backgrounds and mental health issues, specializing in trauma and anxiety.  Lauren McCarthy grew up in Red Bluff California and moved to Reno, Nevada in June 2016. Lauren received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology Education from University Nevada, Reno in 2019. Lauren is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern as well as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. With an interest and concentration in trauma informed practices, Lauren believes in a person-centered therapeutic approach, having client needs and goals at the forefront of treatment. She is certified in Crisis Disaster and Trauma Training through Association for Advanced Training in Behavioral Sciences as well as having received her first certificate of completion for EMDR training and will be pursuing full certification in 2022. Lauren works with all ages and demographics but has concentrated especially in working with adolescents and couples. For self-care, Lauren likes to be outside hiking with her dog Quinn, riding her horse and spending time with family.

Mark Brehm is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Therapist. In 2013, he graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City with his Masters in Social Work. Since then he has worked in a variety of settings as a therapist including foster care, working with youth and adults experiencing homelessness, as a outpatient therapist and a school counselor. He is passionate about working with youth  and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, complex trauma, anger, dissociative and mood disorders. Mark is trained in EMDR, CBT, Functional Family Therapy, Couples Therapy and Conflict Mediation.  In his leisure time, Mark likes to spend time with his two dogs, hiking and enjoying the outdoors. He is also an avid wood-worker who enjoys building  restoring furniture, creating wood signs and making skateboards at his home workshop.

Sue Ann Daniel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She was born and raised in Michigan.  She moved to Nevada in 2019. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Master in Social Work in 2002, specializing in Gerontology and a second Master Degree from Madonna University in 2005 in Hospice Education specializing in Bereavement. She has worked in a variety of settings such as hospice, home care, elder care, senior care, elder law, senior housing and counseling. As a therapist she will meet you where you are at and move through your therapeutic journey together. She does not subscribe to one theory, she will utilize a multi-theory approach to meet YOUR NEEDS. Sue Ann enjoys exploring Nevada, spending time with her family and her dog.

Janay Sweatt Thomas is a Nationally Certified, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Hailing all the way from Norfolk, VA; Janay has always been passionate about working with individuals to help them meet their goals and become their best selves. Janay earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Shaw University in 2014, where she focused on child and adolescent development and African American psychological studies. Janay then, went on to pursue her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016, where she was able to focus on the treatment of individuals, families, and couples. Janay has been advocating for the quality treatment of BIPOC and LGBTQIA individuals, since moving to Nevada in 2016. Janay is skilled in the use of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Mindfulness-Based Practices, and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy. Janay is truly passionate about helping individuals on their journey to understanding and self-growth.  When working with couples and families, Janay helps them build compassion and understanding for each member, while also acknowledging the strengths each person contributes to these healthy functioning relationships.  Together, you and Janay can work together to change one’s thought patterns and behaviors, while also being mindful of the process. Janay awaits the opportunity to work with you and/or your family. In her downtime, Janay enjoys traveling with her wife and daughter, reading, collecting sneakers, and dancing.

Laurie Crom is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Nationally Certified Counselor. Laurie completed her Masters Degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology in 1993 and earned her Marriage and Family Therapy License in 2001. Laurie is passionate about working with couples and individuals to address all kinds of relationship concerns. In addition to couple’s relationship counseling, Laurie helps individuals or couples navigating separation/divorce, parenting/co-parenting, trauma, grief/loss, or social/ interpersonal concerns. Laurie enjoys hiking, skiing, tennis, traveling and spending time with family and friends. 



Lauri Pipkin is a Clinical Professional Counselor. She has worked in the mental health field since 1998. Her experience includes working with adolescents in treatment centers, jail transition case management, and mental health case management. In 2016, Lauri graduated with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and she is also trained in EMDR, IFS level 1, and EFIT level 1. As a therapist, Lauri partners with her clients in working through trauma, identifying personal strengths, and building resilience. She works with a diverse clientele ages 6 and up who may experience anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and mood disorders. Lauri was a military wife for 24 years. In her down she enjoys camping, traveling and spending time with friends. 



Kara Yegge is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therpaist. Compassion, respect, and inclusion are the core values of my practice. Change hits us all differently, so therapy is not one-size-fits-all. My goal is to help you explore your authentic self, to develop the talents and strengths unique to your lived experience and navigate that change more effectively. I work with individuals, families, teens, and couples on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, life transitions, 2SLGBTQ+ issues, substance abuse, communication skills and interpersonal relationships, as well as the complicated issues associated with Bipolar and Borderline Personality Disorders.
